Päivän lopussa USD/JPY oli 83,21:ssä 83,01:n avaushintaan verrattuna. EUR/JPY nousi 108,13:sta 107,45:een.
Japani julkaisee seuraavaksi viime kuun ydinkonelukunsa. Raportin odotetaan nousevan 2,2 % marraskuun 1,4 %:n laskun jälkeen.
Pari on aloittanut nousevan korjauksen käytyään 1,2870:ssa, joka on ensimmäinen tukitaso. Vastustus on joulukuun 23. päivän pohjalla 1,3050:ssa ja 200 päivän liikkuvassa keskiarvossa 1,3080:ssa. Vastustusta löytyy myös 1,3110:ssa, marraskuun huipulta alkaneelta laskutrendilinjalta.
Aamulla pari rikkoi marraskuun huipulta alkaneen laskutrendilinjan yläpuolelle. Ostaminen hidastui 50 päivän liikkuvassa keskiarvossa 1,5660:ssa. Pari voi liikkua 100 päivän liikkuvalle keskiarvolle 1,5775:een. Tuki löytyy joulu- ja tammikuun nousevalta tukilinjalta 1,5430:sta.
Jyrkkää nousua seurannut konsolidaatio johti nousevaan lippukuvioon. Kuvion rikkominen voi viedä parin ylemmäs ja hinta-arvio on hieman ylempänä kuin joulukuun huippu 84,50:ssa.
Nousu jatkuu ja eilinen päättyi kesäkuussa 2010 alkaneen trendilinjan yläpuolella. Parin nousu hidastui edellisellä nousulinjalla, joka alkoi loka- ja marraskuun pohjalta ja toimi vastustuksena. Kaupassa suositellaan kärsivällisyyttä ja ostopositioiden avaamista liikkuessa edellisen trendilinjan yläpuolelle.
Hopea on noussut jyrkästi löydettyään tuen $28,30:ssa. Vastustuksen antoi elokuussa 2010 alkanut nouseva trendilinja. Sijoittajien tulisi ostaa vastustuksen ollessa $30,25:ssä ja kaikkien aikojen huipulla $31,21:ssä. forex
